Gorges of Alcantara

Located in the Alcantara Valley along the course of the homonymous river, the Gorges were formed through the erosion of the lava rocks with the passage of the icy water of the river giving rise to various walls with spectacular shapes, high up to 25 meters. They are now part of the 'Alcantara Gorges' Botanical and Geological Park included in the Alcantara River Park. Several activities are practicable: trekking, canyoning, quad biking, cycling, Jeep Tour e body rafting.
