Feast of S.Agata

The feast of Sant'Agata is the most important religious festival in the city of Catania. It is celebrated in honor of the patron saint of the city and involves and attracts a significant number of participants making it one of the best known and most followed religious holidays.
It takes place in February, period in which the mild climate of Sicily allows you to fully enjoy all the moments of the party, street lights, the delivery of the candles on the fercolo – in Sicilian "cannalore" -.
