THE WORK OF VOLUNTEERS
After the initial fears, it turned out that the material used for the vandalism gesture was iron oxide powder, fortunately easily removable. Thus began a real civic competition which saw numerous volunteers participate. Coordinated by the Superintendency of Agrigento, they set to work with pressure washers to restore the Scala dei Turchi, a real attraction for tourists from all over the world, to its natural color. A PRECIOUS MONUMENT
