The 12 and the 13 November the Catania Tattoo Convention returns

The next one will kick off 12 November in Catania, in the Le Ciminiere exhibition center in viale Africa, the Catania Tattoo Convention. The city of Etna will become the epicenter of the art of tattooing with guests of national and international importance.

THE NUMBERS

The two days of the Catania Tattoo Convention will see 170 tatuatori provenienti da tutto il mondo e saranno allestiti ben 3mila metri quadri di stand e spazi espositivi. You can get tattooed with internationally renowned artists, who will bring their style and inspiration to the slopes of Etna. There will be several bands that will perform during the Catania Tattoo Convention but there will also be exhibitions, seminary from the contest.

THE PROGRAM

For the edition 2022 a rich program is expected that sees, oltre i tattoo, music as the absolute protagonist together with the world of Bikers and fans of 2 wheels. Saturday 12 November MissisipiSlides will alternate on stage with their southern blues and RawPower from Reggio Emilia. The latter is a band that wrote the history of Italian hardcore by sharing the stage with bands of the caliber of the Dead Kennedys, GBH, Motorhead, Ranci is a Slayer. The concert will be opened by Rhino and Nerobove from Catania. Sunday 13 November they will play The Free Balls, flagship band of the island's Rockabilly scene. The group will be the soundtrack for an event that will take place from 11 at 18 and which will involve motorcycling enthusiasts: the "custom contest".

The event, organized in collaboration with the biker pub Fondo Bianco and Low Ride magazine, it will give space to booper fans, cafericer, chopper, brat. There will be spaces for culture and art with exhibitions such as that of Marco Rossettini, artist and tattoo artist from Catania, and Mike Dorsey, a historic American tattoo artist who will exhibit his canvases.

I SEMINAR

Extensive attention is paid to the world of tattoo artists with several seminars dedicated to specific techniques and knowledge of styles. The 12 November there will be a seminar on the technique of color in tattooing, held by maestro Luca Natalini. The 13 November will be the turn of an in-depth study on the art of lettering with a seminar held by Big Meas, for the first time in Europe.
