Giardini Naxos, the appointment with NaxosLegge is back

‘Fare’ is the theme of the 13th edition of “NaxosLegge, Storytelling Festival, of reading and the book” which, with the artistic direction of Fulvia Toscano, returns again this year from 1 September to 1 October with dozens of events. Naxos reads from Giardini Naxos, where most of the meetings are concentrated, it will also touch the cities of Messina, Catania, Palermo and Augusta again, Letojanni, Paternal, Francavilla of Sicily.

Three authors are the protagonists of the literary section: Manzoni, Tolkien and Giovanni Testori of whom the 2023 celebrates important anniversaries. They will be remembered by scholars and writers such as Angelo Cappello and Luciano Lanna for Cepell, and Oronzo Cilli among the leading Italian experts on the author of “The Lord of the Rings”. And again Alessandro Gnocchi, director of the cultural pages of Il Giornale, author of an essay that sheds light on Testori as a journalist. Finally from Emanuela Fontana author of the novel “The corrector” dedicated to the woman who, nell’ shadow helped Manzoni to correct the final version of the “Betrothed”, a sort of ante litteram editor. The 13th edition of NaxosLegge will open on 1 September with the Culture Promoters Award assigned to personalities who have distinguished themselves in the world of culture.

THE NAXOSLEGGE AWARDS 2023

The 13th edition of NaxosLegge will open, on September 1st at 19, at the Lido of Naxos, the Culture Promoters Award entitled to Franz Riccobono. The winners 2023 I am:
